Leanne's Knee Update

This post has been keyworded under:
Honey & Gus

I am happy to report, for those concerned, Leanne is on the mend after her knee surgery. I have included a photo of Leanne's knee but it's not for the squeamish, it has the appearance of a classic theatrical scar, so to soften the blow I have  used soft focus and included photos of puppies! Leanne (on crutches), Kim and I took the dogs for a walk, it has to be said all things considered, Leanne was very spritely on those crutches. Kim became slightly alarmed when Gus accidently fell in the water, but it proved he could swim!

Dogs in the Park

Coot chicks

At lunch time we were in Verulamium Park, looking at the ducklings, when a black Labrador dog dived into the lake, into the middle of a group of wild fowl, he landed on a coot chick and it never surfaced again, people looking on were dismayed. The owner retrived her dog from the lake and put it on a lead, she sloped off shame faced. I like dogs but I think this time of year owners should put their dogs on leads around the lake, they have the rest of the park they can run free in. Spotted this well loved chap on the railings near the Fighting Cocks, missing its owner.
