I have to show you this fence my husband, Steve, designed and constructed. Steve took a week off work to make this eighth wonder of the world! I think he enjoyed building it, making a change from working in his studio in London, in front of a computer. Good job!

I went to Hitchin flea market yesterday, looking for a vase to display my newly purchased twig lights in. During the day the twigs look like innocuous springtime pussy willow but come the night and they take on a completely different glitzy persona. I found a jug at the market made about 1930-1940ish and it only cost a couple of pounds. It reminds me of one of those jugs used at school to display flowers in, on the nature table.
