Beer in a Glass - A Quick and Easy Gift Idea to make for a Man

This is a quick and easy gift idea to make, well put together! All you need is a beer glass and two pairs of socks, a black pair and a white pair. For the white pair I bought sports socks, turned inside out, the texture resembles bubbles perfect for the beer's frothy head. Now all you do is roll and manipulate the socks into the glass until you are happy they look like a pint of Guinness.

*To avoid disappointment, for the recipient, include a bottle of beer as part of the gift too!

How to make a summer lantern

attach a second piece of wire to make handle, add beads at this point if desired

Cut out mulberry paper to fit jar with 1cm overlap

Paint the jar with the watered down PVA

Place paper onto the jar

PVA the bottom of the jar fold over paper

PVA over the top of the paper to seal it

Stand the jar on its neck and leave to dry

These pretty lanterns are really easy to make you just need a few items-

Clean jars with the labels removed

Mulberry paper or tissue paper, mulberry paper is more robust

PVA glue, watered down to a ratio 1:1

Garden wire
