snow

I've had enough of the snow now, pretty as it is maybe through the window, it's starting to get in the way. Today is the day to take down and put away Christmas decorations, I want to put the snow away too!

I must tell you how kind Kathie from Massachusetts is, she sent me a key. It's a key for my wind up, tin toy, Russian dolls. Thanks to Kathie I can now watch my pair of Russian dolls rotate and twirl.

Ashley passed his driving test on Monday, he had his car delivered yesterday. Today it's snowed in, no chance to play with it. What mums put up with for love of their children. I can honestly say before this year I had never seen a single episode of Top Gear. Now thanks to my, newly acquired, petrol head son and DAVE, by default, I have seen most of them and more than once. I can't tell you what I think of Jeremy Clarkson!

On Tuesday evening Ashley and I went to an informal meet-up of St Albans bloggers. Organized by Robin of St Alban's blog here at the Portland Arms here. A very eclectic bunch of blogs, it was nice to meet everyone.

Woke up this morning opened the curtains to a winter wonderland, very pretty but the tender plants won't appreciate it.

Easter Sunday it snowed.
