How to Make a Bat and Spider Decoration for Halloween

Batty Bats
Pieces for the bat. Face and wings template available for down load at bottom of post
Push the wings through the hole
Cut through wool with sharp scissors, an adult should do this
Part the two discs slightly. Tie a length of wool around the middle, pulling it tight and tie a knot. Make sure the wool is positioned at right angles to the wings
Carefully pull away the cardboard discs
Place head on pom pom. I used double sided tape
For the spider put 4 lengths of pipe cleaner 15cm (6in) long through the hole. Follow bat instructions to make pom pom
Bend legs into shape and stick on head
