A Nod To Chelsea

It's the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this week, I do enjoy watching it on TV. As a nod to Chelsea I have created 3 gardens. The first one I call 'Old skateboard ramp, goal posts and incinerator', see the naturalistic planting, as ground cover I have used Ground elder and Stinging nettles. I think it works. The second design is called 'The Neighbours Roof' with this one I have incorporated next doors roof as my hard landscaping. The distressed red clay tiles contrast with the green planting, very pleasing to the eye, may I even venture to suggest a little reminiscent of a Lutyens and Jekyll collaboration. My final offering is 'Urban Garden with Washing', I think this one speaks for its self, see my attention to detail. This year at Chelsea the general consensus is green is the new colour.

Garden No. 1 Old skateboard ramp, goal posts and incinerator
Garden No.2 The neighbours roof
Garden No.3 Urban garden with washing
