Glitzy Pussy Willow

I went to Hitchin flea market yesterday, looking for a vase to display my newly purchased twig lights in. During the day the twigs look like innocuous springtime pussy willow but come the night and they take on a completely different glitzy persona. I found a jug at the market made about 1930-1940ish and it only cost a couple of pounds. It reminds me of one of those jugs used at school to display flowers in, on the nature table.

I have pussy willows in a vase on the piano. I dried them last year. I am envious of you right now because it will be two more months before our pussy willows come out.Snowing here in Canada right now, but love to think of spring.

Hello Marlyn thanks for your comments. Even though winter isn't my favourite season it makes us look forward to spring! I have always thought It must be odd living in countries that don't have defined seasons. The changing seasons add interest to the landscape and make us appreciate the few sunny days we get!
