This Rosy Cosy was designed and knitted by Rachel, one of the St Albans Knit Night regulars. The cosy won a competition in Knitting Magazine, July 09 issue, what a talented knitter she is. I am also grateful to Rachel because at one of the evening meetings, held at the Hare and Hounds, she was wearing a crocheted flower necklace. I admired it and she was happy to point me to the pattern on Creativeyarn . I love this easy but effective necklace pattern, It's the one I taught my sister to crochet in just an afternoon.
What a fantastic cosy! I have just given my one (bought at a real old-fashioned church bazaar) to my sister - they fell in love with it. But my limited skills won't stretch to a a glamorous cosy like this, I'm afraid. But that necklace - I really want to try it - I can kind of crochet chains and rounds and squares, so I think I'll just do my own thing ... thanks for the great inspiration!
What a great tea cosy and the necklace is super too only I can't crochet. :(
I love the knitted necklace in your previous post and await the pattern. :)
