Look who I found lurking in my bag of tomatoes, its Tarquin tomato! I don't like to mention it but I can't help but stare at his pimple! With knitted toys being thin on the ground I decided I would knit my own little doll. The only problem is it has no history, I guess I will have to give it time. Yesterday I had coffee with Daryl and Sue, we went to our favourite cafe, the Secret Garden. Like its name implies there is a lovely secluded area that backs onto St Albans Cathedral. It's an independent concern so its good to support it and most importantly the coffee is good. Talking of things local my friend's husband has organised a day of live music at the Six Bells pub in St Michael's on Sunday 14th June from mid-day onwards and it's FREE, all welcome. We went to it last year and it was very good. One of the bands playing on Sunday is the Swanvesta Social Club. Also on Sunday it's the Farmers Market and Flea Market at the Town Hall.
Have to love that tomato! But ... will you now be able to EAT it?? Cut its little head in slices for a summery tomato salad? I don't think so!! And I love your little doll - she must come visit her cousins in SA. Only you will have to dress her in some clothes, otherwise people might frown ... PS What a lovely little spot for having tea or coffee!
